Canvas Instructions

It appears the pics are loading from bottom to top. I will have to figure out how to do step by step more clearly another time.

(Bottom 2 pics) To use ink or acrylic paint? The deciding factor for me has been the size of my canvas. The one below is a 20x30 and it killed 3 ink pads. I used some smaller 8x10 canvases as mattes for my pics and those I used chalk ink (like cat's eyes) on.

(The next 3 above those) Once you cover the canvas, you are essentially making a giant layout. I laid my items out and such ahead of time as I brainstormed. No gluing took place until I was happy. I used Aleene's tacky glue, glue dots, and even a few brads because I was using a stretched canvas as opposed to a canvas that had a card board back. I picked paper, and embellishments and did any prep on the embellishments I needed. (Like painting chipboard and covering with diamond glaze!)

Once I laid everything out and positioned it, I glued down 1 quadrant at a time so that I wouldn't screw it up. And Voila -- (top pic) -- is finished canvas! Took 8 hours because I agonized over every detail and worried that it wasn't 3-d enough!
