As many of you have heard, President Hinckley passed away last evening in the company of loved ones. I have had a few moments of tears because he was my prophet -- meaning that I have discovered much of myself and found what I know as truth during his time. I know others have "their" prophets, but Hinckley is especially special to me. I think about the fact that he was the prophet when I met Chris and through the birth of our 4 children. Amanda doesn't remember any other prophet as she was so young when Benson and Hunter were presidents.
Now I know that some of you are not members and may not understand the process of significance of this. I am putting a link here for those who are interested. President Hinckley was an amazing man and he will be missed terribly.
