In spite of all the efforts I made to get Corwin here a few days early, the doctor has had no medical reason to bump our date up so we are set for a c-section/tubal on Thursday June 21st @ 10:30 am. Hopefully sometime in that afternoon or evening, an e-mail will be sent with all the details. We also have a phone list for immediate family and plan to call many of you as time allows. We may have a grandparent do some calls instead, we will just have to see how it goes.
The last sonogram shows him fully developed and ready to go. He was measuring 7lbs 14 oz, however there is about a 1.5 lb error rate so he can be as big as 9 plus pounds. The doctors are convinced he won't be any smaller than 8 pounds. Anyway, so far this has actually been the smoothest pregnancy I have had which is shocking considering the obsession of the doctors with my advanced maternal age (sorry, if 45 year olds are having babies, I'm very young still!). Anyway, unless he gets really cranky and does an about face and decides to throw me into labor, (not likely since my cervix has closed again! I was at a 2 cm but not anymore) Thursday is the big day. And with the temps climbing up to 110 *F daily, not a moment too soon.

Man oh man, I know how much you want Corwin to get here. You have to be very uncomfortable. He sounds like a big baby. I wish you the best and just hang in there. You'll do just fine.
