And the number one 2009 moment.....................

Was there any doubt that a 10 day trip to California had to be the top moment for the family? We had very few glitches on the trip which basically means a perfect trip! We hit many theme parks, namely Disneyland/California Adventure (4 days) Legoland (1 day) and Knotts Berry Farm (1 day). The kids were really good! The crowds were still too much for our tastes but after 13 years of planning to go back, we did. And Chris's mom did get to come and that was a lot of fun too.

Amanda and Jocelyn were the biggest thrill seekers. They liked the roller coasters. Rebecca was loving all the rides until Tower of Terror terrorized her. Drake got brave once, for the Ghost Rider and that ride scared the pants off him and gave me a run for my money too. After that he was all for the tamer rides. Corwin flat out liked the Rocker Ships. If you said the word ride, he'd exclaim "Rocket Chips!!!!"

Anyway, Happy New Year!!!!

I think that we actually enjoyed Legoland more than Disneyland, although every day had fun moments.

The Best of 2009

Jocelyn graduated from Kindergarten! That is quite a milestone in her life.
Rebecca was in a play. SHe was one of the leads and she was AWESOME!!!!
Amanda played church Volleyball and she was very good!
Soccer on Saturdays, but only until Spring was finished.

Guitar Hero Junkies live at our house. It is a rather fun and addictive past time.
Pinewood Derby. This was Drake's first yeat and he placed 4th. Not bad!

So today is Father's Day and today is the first day of summer. And today, Corwin is a big ole 2 years old! Hard to believe it, the time went by fast. I'm sure that it is redundant to say so. But I can't help but feel that the time flew by. Happy Birthday, little Bubba!

Can you believe it, 11 years.

We got Married on March 21st, 1998. And here we are 11 years later. And we can still smile. Here's to the next 11 plus!

I have no time!!!

I keep thinking of all the cool things I need to share. Pictures, scrapbooking, children's cute stories, scholastic achievements, etc. But when I have the opportunity, I am minus pictures or brain cells. So I took my camera to the school today and snapped a couple of random shots of my cute little buggers. It is a little cold for us outside if you can't tell.

Spelling Bee Champion for Harmon Elementary

Rebecca was declared the Spelling Bee Champion!





She spelled chocolate, safari, diatribe, and feldspar. So next week will be district. We will see how that goes!
